curl breaks due to ssl errors

Happens with:

• http://xy.s.co
• http://ix.io/lMP

Here's the error:

:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:sslv3 alert bad record mac

Here it is in the stream around the 19 min mark

We've tried setting the hostname but that didn't seem to fix it. Could it be a timing issue? Or a config var that needs to be set?

A possible workaround is to not nest curl calls, but even if we make the alias, will the .run script work?

A good solution might just be to stop using curl after the first step. Install git, clone the repo, and add git pull to .bash_profile. Then alias r to a version of .run that works locally.

This means that it is an issue with https://rawgit.com/twial/scripts/master/p

now that my domain proxies hhttps://raw.githubusercontent.com/twial/scripts/master/* it should handles the ssl side of things.

The only reason my server was slow earlier was because of the fiber being cut in the ovh data center.

it has yet to get hit with any ddos from what i can tell.

so replacing everything with zdn.pw/* should be fine for now.

I do like the git idea though.
