Open-generics support?

Hello,

I've been investigating your lovely framework as a DI framework of choice for my next project and one big blocker for my adoption was open generic. After checking out how nice and elegant code is, and how easy would be to add suport, I did a PR with implementation in my fork.
Question I have is: would that be something that I should try to merge back up-stream (I can create PR), or that's aginst direction for the project vision?
