We're exploring how developers think about alert data lifecycle and we'd love to hear from you. This question is specifically about resolved/dismissed alert history, ie the historical record of alerts you've already acted on.

⚠️ Disclaimer: This is an informal poll to understand expectations and mental models. We're simply gathering input to inform future thinking around this area!

If you were to disable Dependabot Alerts on a repository, what would you expect to happen to your previously resolved or dismissed alerts?

Resolved/dismissed alert data is permanently deleted. I wouldn't expect it to persist after opting out.

Resolved/dismissed alert data is removed from the product, but a record is still available through the audit log.

Resolved/dismissed alerts are no longer visible in the UI, but remain accessible via the API, even after I've turned Alerts off.
