Dependabot encountered and error performing the update

We have an issue in our dependabot setup and would like to know how to avoid this situation in general since it seems to prevent dependabot from performing a security scan. It looks like dependabot is not working properly but I don't know why and if it might even be intentional.

The visible text says:

If I follow the link I see:

Dependabot cannot update to the required version. One or more other dependencies require a version that is incompatible with this update.

If I click on view logs I see logs with the following errors:

Without the exact error logs, this is often caused by unresolved conflicting dependencies or out-of-memory errors during the Docker build run. Please check the raw Dependabot job logs in the 'Insights -> Dependency Graph' tab, and ensure your lockfiles are fully synchronized with your manifest.
