Description of the issue

We need to enhance the OTO to be able to annotate the content section of the open transport metadata

Ideas of solution

We need new terms and definitions for

  • Mode of Transport
    Definition: A mode of transport is a method or way of traveling, or of transporting people or cargo.

    Placement in the ontology: subclass of occurrent-> process - > process profile (already there)
  • Motorized Transport
    Definition: Motorized Transport is a mode of transport which used motors for traction
    Placement in the ontology: subclass of occurrent -> process -> process profile -> mode of transport (move it)
  • Air transport
    Definition: Air Transport is a mode of transport which uses airplanes.
    Placement in the ontology: subclass of occurrent -> process ->process profile -> mode of transport
    alternative label: Aviation (already there)
  • Rail transport
    Definition: Rail transport is a mode of transport which uses wheeled vehicles on rail tracks.
    Placement in the ontology: occurrent -> process ->process profile -> mode of transport
  • Road transport
    Definition: Road transport is a mode of transport which uses wheeled vehicles on roads
    Placement in the ontology: occurrent -> process ->process profile -> mode of transport
  • Water transport
    Definition: Water transport is a mode of transport which uses ships on water.
